The Jamaican Music Experience
The only tertiary programme in Jamaica that focuses on ensemble performance.

The Alpha School of Music offers a 2-semester Jamaican Music Experience for international musicians between the ages of 19-28. Learn ska, reggae, rocksteady, and mento beside Jamaican music students at the world-renowned Alpha campus.
It is a two-semester (1 academic year) Jamaican music immersion programme which offers students with prior music knowledge, hands-on practical and theoretical instruction in Jamaican music in a structured classroom setting.
Programme

The Associate Degree in Music Performance at the Alpha School of Music is a two-year programme developed to train musicians for the commercial music and entertainment industry. It is the only tertiary programme in Jamaica that focuses on ensemble performance and also offers two pre-qualifying years of instruction for students who do not have the requisite knowledge to enter the Associate Degree programme
