The Supernova Ska Festival Internship is a partnership between the Alpha School of Music, JAMAICA NICE. and the Supernova Ska Festival in Hampton, Virginia.
Held annually on the coast of Virginia, the Supernova International Ska Festival features 3 days of ska and valuable learning opportunities for Alpha students who experience first hand what goes into a multi-day event. Student interns learn about the finer points of festival production, promotion and execution while meeting and sharing experiences with ska musicians and fans from around the world. This year, music student Leon Channer is leaving Jamaica to go to Hampton, Virginia for four days of ska music.
