This milestone partnership fosters academic collaboration, student exchange opportunities and the development of innovative music education programmes.
The partnership with the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) provides an opportunity for our students to engage with peers in another part of the world, to learn about genres like Hip Hop and Jazz from a different perspective, and to share the richness of Jamaica’s own musical legacy, including Ska, with an international audience. These exchanges help our students understand that they are part of a global creative community—and that their voices and stories matter on a global stage.
