Conceived and curated by Alpha School of Music Technology Programme Coordinator Ricardo Diaz, Digital Lounge is a live, immersive sound experience created in real time by second-year students using Ableton software and special tools like Novation Launch Pad and Akai Mini Midi Controllers.
Combining instruments, computers, and live looping processes, the work creates a fluid soundscape in which music moves around and through the audience.

Music: “Digital Nectar” composed and performed by Josh-Lemar Palmer using Ableton software.
Rather than presenting a single, front-facing performance, Digital Lounge unfolds as a continuous sonic environment. In this way, sound is not simply projected toward the listener but circulates within the space, inviting the audience to experience the performance from within the music itself.
