Titled The Final Countdown, it will be a powerful culmination of four years of dedication, creativity, and artistic development. The plan for the evening includes a dynamic lineup of live performances, original compositions and genre bending arrangements like Ska Rock, Reggae, R&B and Soul. With the technology students in charge of sound production expect musicianship and moments that capture technical excellence and raw emotion.

“It is a privilege to be part of ‘The Final Countdown,’ as it represents the culmination of four years of study and artistic development,” said Joel Wallace, Class of ’26. “This showcase reflects our growth as musicians and creators, and the journey we have taken in developing our individual and collective voices through music.”

Alpha lecturer, Evad Campbell, says students’ growth has been measurable. “Over the past four years, I’ve watched this group grow from individuals finding their path, into a community with a clear sense of identity. They’ve learned to listen to each other, to experiment, and to trust their own creative instincts. What stands out the most is how they’ve shaped their sound together—drawing from different influences while staying grounded in the traditions that define Jamaican music. The Final Countdown is not just a performance; it reflects their journey, their dedication, and the way they’ve come to understand themselves as artists and as a band.”
