The Alpha School of Music’s very first graduation ceremony, celebrating the class of 2025, took place Thursday May 29th in the Sister Ignatius Hospitality Room on the Alpha campus. We congratulate and recognize the amazing accomplishments of these five young musicians – drummer/percussionist Jonathan Gordon; bass guitarist Alejandro Keating; violinist/vocalist Zuri Aiko Gordon; percussionist Sanje Landell; and keyboardist Matthew Reid – who are now holders of the Associate Degrees of Arts in Music Performance from the Alpha School of Music.
The upbeat and celebratory event included remarks from Marcia Tai Chun, CEO of the Sisters of Mercy, Gay Magnus, Director of Music, Margaret Little Wilson, Administrator and commencement speaker, Steve Wilson, artist manager, music professional and author and a wonderful speech from valedictorian Jonathan Gordon.
After the Ceremony was a celebratory cocktail hour with family, friends and the Alpha community…
