A “cultural phenomenon” (Jamaica Star), Tuesday Service is where musicians go to hear and play live music.
The Alpha School of Music Class of 2026 will be performing live at The Compound this Tuesday. Part of the lead up to their Graduate Showcase May 14 (info), the Tuesday Service showcase will highlight the musicians creative breadth in an intimate, community setting.
Since the Dub Squad musical collective launched Tuesday Service last February, the event has transformed Kingston’s local music scene, attracting a melting pot of musicians, rising stars, and reggae enthusiasts to The Compound off Molynes Road every Tuesday night.
“The vibe we’ve created is something special. It’s not just another show — it’s a community where music breathes and evolves,” said Dub Squad’s bassist Kawain Williamson.
