VISION STATEMENT
‘Upward and Onward’ – The Alpha School of Music is guided by the core values, the hallmarks of a Mercy Education. It is a creative hub where young musicians are trained to prosper in the contemporary music industry while exploring and developing indigenous music. It has linkages to entertainment and the performing arts and is supported by a sustainable network in Jamaica and around the world.
MISSION STATEMENT
As a member institution sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, our mission at the Alpha School of Music is to seek to develop the artistic, social and moral capacity of young musicians while instilling the core values of a Mercy Education. We facilitate and strengthen pathways from school to work in the music industry, and enrich the music culture of Jamaica and the world.
